Gung Fu for Christ and Church of the Good Shepherd present:

Martial Arts Bible Camp for
K-6 graders
April 4-8, 2011  Monday-Friday
10:00am—2:30pm
Our fun will include Bible teaching with Pastor Tim: Pathway to Peace, Gung Fu training with Sifu Steve, nunchucks, star throwing, archery, spear throwing, crafts, games, and much more!

*Please bring a lunch, water bottle, tennis shoes, and comfortable clothes each day!

$80 EACH for first two siblings and 1/2 price for each additional family member.
*Scholarships Available
*A $15 non-refundable deposit is due at sign-up

If you are interested in signing up for martial arts classes with Gung Fu for Christ you are welcome to enroll now as well.  This is a great way to get your kids moving and in shape while learning self defense.

Your tuition will include a Gung Fu t-shirt, training equipment, and snacks.

$80 for your first child, 2nd child 10% off, and each additional family members are 1/2 price.

On October 3rd Gung Fu for Christ will be participating in Karate for Christ International Kick-a-Thon on October 3, 2009.  Please see Sifu for your student instructions & Sponsorship form.  All sponsorship pledges will be given to the Asia Reach Ministries, the official mission outreach of Karate for Christ International.

Martial arts in the church?

Sure … the “church” is not a building, its a group of people.  God’s glory is reflected in the new hearts of His people, not on bricks and sticks.

The goal for every follower of Jesus is to live a life of integrity holiness, patience and respect.  We teach martial arts because the character traits we learn in those classes help make us better followers of Jesus.

Our classes provide proven and effective self-offense training for the whole family.  We teach the very same principles that Bruce Lee taught to his students, Sijo James DeMile And Jesse Glover.

Sifu Steve has trained for over ten years in conjunction with DeMile, Glover, and Sibok Cary Hiatt to pass on the teachings of Bruce Lee.  What makes Sifu Steve unique is that he combines the teachings of Jesus with skills taught in this form of martial arts.  People don’t learn how to be bullies-they learn how to treat people the way they would want to be treated.
